Nexans Power Accessories Germany GmbH manufactures connection technology for aluminum and copper conductors in energy cables and overhead lines of power transmission and distribution networks.

Regardless of the conductor construction, contact elements from GPH® offer the highest quality for the transmission of electricity.

Adapted to a wide range of applications, we produce IEC-tested connectors for conductors from 1.5 mm² to 1200 mm² for low- and medium-voltage applications, as well as special contacts and customer-specific tailor-made products up to 2500 mm² and more for the extra-high voltage range.

Mechanical connectors and cable lugs as well as crimping connectors and cable lugs available to ensure a permanent connection with optimum conductor contact for a wide range of applications.

GPH® connection technology

Mechanical connectors by GPH® are a reliable and efficient way of connection different conductor cross sections and conductor materials for low, middle and high voltage.

All connectors are available with either hexagon socket bolts or shear-off-head bolts.

Advantages of mechanical connectors

  GPH® shear bolt connectors are made of high-strength aluminum alloy with tin-plated surface. They allow the safe connection of copper and aluminium conductors of all designs and cross sections from 1.5 mm2 up to 1200 mm2
• Reliable and tested for safety: GPH® mechanical connection technology clamps all conductors with an optimum contact force. The design is tested (IEC61238-1 Class A, ANSI 199.4, UL, DNV) and provides the highest contact quality for a maximum lifetime of the application.
• Compensates conductor tolerances while always maintaining an optimum contact quality
• Suitable for all common and compacted conductor types
• Simple installation – best performance: With only one tool, our shear bolt connectors can be installed with an approved impact wrench or alternatively by hand.
